Swimming in Arrieta:
In the complex there is no swimming - pool available. (Just the Master Suite has it´s own, small pool.) There is a tidal pool at the coast (public), in approx. 200yds, which invites to have a wave - protected swim (bathing ladder). The next sandy beach is the Playa la Garita beach in

Arrieta Lanzarote,

Supermarkets in Arrieta:
You will find the next (small) supermarket at approx. 300yds. At the petrol station of Arrieta (approx. 1½ miles) is another, bigger supermarket, opened daily (also Sunday) till 9:30 PM. More and bigger supermarkets on Lanzarote (Eurospar, Lidl) are in Arrecife, approx. 20 miles to go.

Restaurants in Arrieta:
The next tapas - bar is situated at approx. 300yds, the next restaurant at approx. 500yds, more restaurants are in the center of Arrieta, approx. ½ mile to go, and furthermorte at the Playa la Garita beach at approx. one mile to go

Shopping:
In Arrieta there are just very few opportunities to go shopping. The shopping malls of Lanzarote are situated in Teguise (15 miles), Costa Teguise (15 miles), Arrecife (20 miles), Playa Honda (22 miles) and in Puerto del Carmen (25 miles).

Markets:
Saturdays in Haría, handycraft market, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, approx. 3 miles to go. Sundays in Teguise, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, approx. 15 miles to go. Fridays in Costa Teguise, inside the Pueblo Marinero complex, 6:00 - 10:00 PM, approx. 15 miles to go.

Excursions:
Unfortunately they don´t offer island trips starting from Arrieta. Therefore it is absolutely recommendable to have a hired car. Tourism:
The area around Arrieta and Punta Mujeres is only very slightly used by tourists, as it is limited to a few apartments and bungalows to let. The next major tourist centers of Lanzarote are Costa Teguise (15 miles), Puerto del Carmen (25 miles) and Playa Blanca (40 miles).
